,I've just discovered my grandmother's old diaries from 1927 to 1956 and look old family photos. At the same time Mac is send the recommendation to switch to their latest operating system which enables me to talk to my computer … (baloney the one who uses SIRI to bypass your pass codes and passwords want to know.)
So, I' trying to imagine what happen if my grandmother could have done that, talking to a computer... I would never ever in my life have gotten hold of her diaries and never rummaged through these old photos.
This is leaving me with the question: What does a digitised society actually leave to its descendants in terms of experiences and contemporary history? Only zeros and ones, bits and bytes, but otherwise? No handwriting, no old photo, nothing funny, only virtual.
Instead Of Letters, I'm Writing This Blog.
