![]() In one week time, Nautic Paris Boat Show will open its doors to the public. The first day on Dec 7th, is reserved for trade professionals and the press. Then the show will be open every day. Entrance fee is 15 €, with reduced to 8 € for 16 to 18 years old visitors and free for those under 16. Entrance fee is free for students, who register in advance online. Workers’ councils and other groups of 10 or more persons benefit from a reduced admission of 8 euros. If this is not a real nice gesture for those who are considered as future costumers... So What's there 2C? The latest boats of course, so innovations and boat premieres with nearly 200 new models like the Beneteau Oceanis 55, Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 469, the Dufour 500 GL 3 and racing yachts such as the new J70 from JBoats and XP33 from X Yachts. And then the "Nautic" is known by is visitors for their numerous events, This year it is first of all the "France 1" being presented to the public. She was the the first non-Anglo-Saxon boat to have taken on the America's Cup during 1970, 1974 and 1977. The owner, Baron Bich, took on the challenge to beat the biggest American and British tycoons in an attempt to win the world's oldest sports trophy. Number of visitors last year was close to 250.00.
