![]() In times of shortage of raw materials motor-sport is not really an eco-friendly sport. But then it would be also boring to live with one or two entertaining scandals (love affair , war nonsense , corruption with politicians and other VIP drop-outs) with subsequent reshuffle of governments or management structures in enterprises. That is why it is always gratifying to meet people who are having fun with such things like motocross. These photos are actually just as a side effect of the " social training " I do with my two Rottweiler dogs who needed learn to accept the engine noise, without falling upon the bikers. They always make a "munchkin revolt" in the back of the car when a motorcycle is approaching us from behind with its typical noise... When the bikers drive they have an angle of view similar to a woman under a burqa: because of their helmet they can not see when something from the left or right is attempting to cross their path. After some reluctance, the guys agreed and let the dogs watch at their privately owned off-road circuit. After a few rounds, the dogs got used to the noise and I could take some pictures of the bikers. Later, the bikers even shared their hamburgers with Bonny & Clyde. About Motocross: it is a form of motorcycle racing held on enclosed off-road circuits. The length of this course near Uzes varies between 1000 m and 4000 m. There are really though slopes to climb and this off-road circuit has different levels of difficulties. The drivers are equipped with extensive protection equipment and wear helmets, boots, gloves, knee, back and chest protectors. here you can see more photographs Comments are closed.
