In Uzes The bulls Were Loose...
The running of the Bulls At a "Bull Run" (also bull race; Spanish: encierro = inclusion, inclusion) young bulls are being driven through a city or village, In the past this was usually leading to the bullring. Today it's more of a show celebrated each year, especially in the South of France. For the security of the spectators, the sides of streets are set up with barricades so the bulls cannot go astray into the crowd. The Running of the Bulls is a tradition which originates from the Middle Ages as the butcher boys where chasing the cattle to the cattle market. These bull runs also provided the idea for one of the most evocative descriptions of the bull run and can be found in Ernest Hemingway's novel "Fiesta". Opponents of the Bull Run complain that the animals suffer great anxiety, panic and pain caused by blows, falls and fueled atmosphere at the "Encierro". I personally found the riders and the guys which are these days sitting on a truck quite gentle and caring for the bulls. noter pour les "cow-boys et cow-girls" les gardians cliquez ici pour plus de photos et de partage sur Facebook et autres réseaux sociaux.
