Just by luck I got hold of US Chief of Staff, H. Shelton, at Tuzla airbase at his visit to the U.S. IFOR troops.
At this time began the lengthy collection of evidence for war crimes.
Shelton was very open and gave some evidence for his sense of humor. Especially clearly evident was that he was really popular with the soldiers.
Later, after the attack of the towers in Nairobi by religions fundamentalist, he was asked by then US President Bill Clinton if it would be possible to invade Afghanistan. Shelton replied:" Only with 700.000 troops on the ground."
Shelton later became CEO of the Linux Software Company "RedHad"
