![]() or "the Pyramid Crisis" was an uprising sparked by the failures of a Ponzi scheme. Albania descend-ed into anarchy and violence in which the government was toppled and some 2,000 people were killed. For me this was the "Dayton-Pay-Off" or how today others would say "Back-Clash". From laundering money and arms trafficking to human trafficking, all the ingredients which are necessary to distract from facts about enrichment of so called "political elitists" was mixed into this trouble. Top news: "USA evacuates its citizens". Which US citizen with commons sense in place would have been in Albania anyway if not one of this curious individuals working for one of the many spy agencies... Tons, simply several millions of land-mines, Kalashnikov's and other war toys that Ever Hoxha got from China because of his paranoid disposition, he believed his reign of terror state would be attacked one day by the whole world. All this guns and killing machines were suddenly freely accessible to everyone. Whole barracks were looted by criminal gangs and thus arrived outside any control. The United Nations Security Council, in Resolution 1101, authorized a force of 7,000 on 28 March to direct relief efforts and to restore order to Albania. The UN feared the unrest would spread outside Albania's borders and contribute even more refugees to Europe. On 15 April, the 7,000 troops launched Operation Sunrise helped restore some kind of rule of law to the country after the real intention was archived: to arm the Albanian majority in the Serbian province Kosovo so they could start to stir the pot and spread their nationalistic paroles. The fact was, after the unrest, over three million guns were transported to Kosovo and the guerrilla forces of Kosovo "Liberation" Army, KLA, had received considerable armament. The rest of the guns ended up in private hand and has been distributed all over Europe and contributing to increased level of violent crimes in many European cities. Ironically, today Albania is a NATO member state. |
