Driving with Volt - The Euracom-Bus
Here in the deep rural French country side, the Gard, a bus ride costs 1.50 €uros. The company "edgard" is providing a good and surprisingly good service. Still, you better keep in mind this price tack can only be possible because of subsidies.
And if we look at the situation at the pumps of our petrol stations, with the the Gulf state in "spring", its clear that the future transportation with buses grow. So, its only a question for how long governments can afford these subsidies. Certainly not by raising taxes. They have reached already their limit for those who need to use a bus to get to work.
The buses are already in duty in several cities in several countries. The production capacity currently stands at 3,000 units per year.
