Following the lockdown, Italian businesses have scrambled to adjust to the emergency measures that are affecting the national economy as a whole. Many companies are paying employees from redundancy funds or encouraging staff to use their holidays to stay at home. Now after more than a year of the most incomprehensible economic dismantling, the shipyards in Italy have finally resumed work.
Here the refit of a Super-Yacht at the CRN shipyard in Ancona. Nevertheless, the political decisions have meant the professional end for many shipbuilders and shipwrights. In the shipbuilding industry in Italy alone, over 25% of employees lost their jobs.
