The camps so poorly and obivous but it was almost impossible to publish any photos of this people as mass media simply tried to ignore this tragedy. The implications of this ignorance followed a uncontrolled migration including human trafficking, so creating exactly a crime on such wide scale the UNHCR is supportingly fighting.
Moreover, the average monthly wages of UNHCR employees are never below 5000 US$ plus per diem. It was the first time where I begun to use the term "humanitarian parasites", flying into a area of crisis with their multi-million costly equipment, paying corrupt landlords and hotels exorbitant monthly rental wages and by doing so making it impossible for local people to find affordable accommodations. In Pristina the International Red Cross have had at least 40 huge SUV's, 4X4, each worth over 30.000 US$, always parked next to the head quarter. These jeeps where washed every day by one Albanian helper who was being paid 10% of the wage of the international "experts". These 4X4 were standing in the compound. What a waste.
