
When the bikers drive they have an angle of view similar to a woman under a burqa: because of their helmet they can not see when something from the left or right is attempting to cross their path. After some reluctance, the guys agreed and let the dogs watch at their privately owned off-road circuit. After a few rounds, the dogs got used to the noise and I could take some pictures of the bikers. Later, the bikers even shared their hamburgers with Bonny & Clyde.
About Motocross: it is a form of motorcycle racing held on enclosed off-road circuits. The length of this course near Uzes varies between 1000 m and 4000 m. There are really though slopes to climb and this off-road circuit has different levels of difficulties. The drivers are equipped with extensive protection equipment and wear helmets, boots, gloves, knee, back and chest protectors.
